NASIONAL CORTUPTION WATCH BALI
DENPASAR – The Bali chapter of the National Corruption Watch (NCW) has praised the Bali Regional Office of the Directorate General of Corrections under the Ministry of Immigration and Corrections for taking part in the APIP SIAGA program, calling it a positive step toward strengthening internal oversight, transparency and accountability within the correctional system.
Wong Kok Liang, chairman of NCW Bali, better known as Mr. Donnox Wong, said the initiative reflected the office’s commitment to building clean and accountable governance.
“We appreciate the efforts made by the Bali Regional Office of the Directorate General of Corrections to strengthen its internal oversight. Preventing corruption starts with stronger supervision, greater integrity and greater transparency in delivering public services,” Donnox Wong said.
He said programs such as APIP SIAGA should be more than ceremonial events and should lead to real improvements in preventing misconduct, strengthening discipline among public officials and building public trust in correctional institutions.
NCW Bali also reaffirmed its commitment to working with law enforcement agencies and government institutions to support corruption prevention and anti-corruption efforts across Bali.
Donnox Wong said strong oversight was key to creating a public service system that is professional, transparent, accountable and free from corruption.
“NCW Bali is ready to support any bureaucratic reform that promotes integrity. At the same time, if any irregularities are found, we will continue to carry out our role in public oversight in accordance with the law. Those who uphold integrity deserve recognition, while anyone proven to have violated the law must be held accountable,” he said.
